This place is great. We came to Nashville to see a show at the Ryman theater. This hotel is exactly 3 mi from Broadway. Meeting the owner of the motel instantly set the tone for the rest of my visit. He was an extremely hospitable man who greeted me with a smile, and gave me no sort of trouble checking in and receiving my key. We drove immediately to our room which had its own parking spot right in front. This hotel was built in the 1960s, and still reserves it's vintage charm. It still has the original Pink tile in the bathroom as well as the original fixtures from the 1960s ,which is part of the awesomeness of this hotel. Everything was clean and tidy, the temperature of the room is quite easy to control and the shower had many settings and very fine water pressure. These are the things that matter in life. The hotel is perfectly fine, as well as the rooms, with not only a great price but an extremely convenient and short drive to downtown. This motel is for smart people who appreciate things.
I usually don't rate and provide my feedback on regular basis. But, this time I would like to rate this motel. The price was affordable when I booked the hotel 2 hours before the arrival compared to other motels. The location is clean, they have a car lot adjust-en to the property. The room was cleaned and proper heating was available, the room was quite slept like a baby after tiring city tours. If I go back to Nashville again on my expense I will definitely go back and stay here.
The owner was super nice and fixed any issues that I had immediately. It's nice place to stay for the night, the rooms are outdated and so is the television but all in all ok. In the bathroom someone had written on the walls and the tub was a bit dirty.
Super comfy beds, incredible staff, and great priced rooms too. Definitely will be coming back.
Comfortable beds,Quiet, & Clean. I absolutely love the staff at Reed Motel. Allen is so kind & helpful. And Loretta the housekeeper is a hoot & makes sure You have all you need. Kind of like being with family. I am an Uber driver from out of town I will only stay here when I am in Nashville ( Since 2017 when it use to be Midtown Motel) The renovation Allen has done are amazing I feel safe since he took over last night I dozed off with the door open while waiting for a food delivery. ( it was 2 a.m.)
I'm from out of town working in Nashville the last 4 month's and I've stayed in 6 or 7 different places over that time but no place has been more kind or helpful than the Reed motel. The staff all know me by name the rooms are clean and the service is over the top. I like it so much I've stayed here almost 2 months straight and no matter where I'm sent to work I know the expressway ( I-24, I-40 or 440) is the first right turn when I leave the parking lot. If you are in town for a nite or more stop in and see why I like it so much. Tell Allen that Steve sent you.
After an exhausting day of travel which we thought would be made easier by booking a hotel in advance, we were left with a one then two hour pushback on check in time, so we drove down the road and found this diamond! Mr. Reed was exemplary in his hospitality! The grounds were neat and the room was clean and tidy! We had a great experience in this room and we will definitely stay there the next time we are in Nashville. I would encourage anyone to stay at this motel. The price is good, the rooms are clean and the customer service beats anything we have encountered in our stays in Nashville and we have visited many hotels there. This is our new home away from home in Nashville!
It's a cheap motel. Obviously not a fancy hotel.The AC works and there's a bus stop across the street that takes you down town for only $2. I didn't see any bugs so really can't complain. Recommend for dudes just trying to party on Broadway
